Lost Earbuds

White earbud, white snow, dark night. The snow was a powdery texture where a finger's weight would crush through the surface and create a hole immediately. I was taking off my mask because it was fogging up my glasses, and the earloop band pulled the earbud off and tossed it somewhere.
